With a strong academic foundation in commerce and law, he provides comprehensive advisory on GST compliance, GST audits, reconciliations, departmental assessments, notices, and litigation management, and he is regularly involved in handling DGGI matters, including investigations, enquiry support, and departmental representations. He has led numerous complex GST assignments and proceedings for corporate and non-corporate clients, consistently achieving favorable outcomes.

Mr. Shah has been a key driver in the implementation and stabilisation of GST across the firmâ€™s diverse clientele, ensuring tax efficiency, compliance accuracy, and proactive risk mitigation. His leadership has been pivotal in managing GST search and survey proceedings, enabling clients to achieve zero litigation exposure with robust documentation and structured compliance processes.

He has also played a transformative role in building and strengthening the firmâ€™s Process Audit, Systems Review, and MIS Governance mechanisms by introducing structured practices such as monthly MIS reviews, process presentations, internal control checks, workflow enhancements, and compliance monitoring, thereby elevating operational discipline and client reporting standards.

Ms. Nirali Shah

Ms. Nirali Shah (B.B.A, Inter-CS, LL.M) heads the Corporate Legal Practice of the firm and brings a strong blend of academic excellence and hands-on legal expertise to service the firmâ€™s diverse corporate clientele. She synergizes legal requirements with business needs, ensuring clients receive efficient, practical, and legally sound solutions under various Corporate and Commercial Laws.

She has successfully handled numerous Company Law Board (CLB) matters, providing strategic representation and advisory support. Her experience also includes the incorporation and structuring of a large number of Companies and Limited Liability Partnerships (LLPs), guiding clients through end-to-end legal processes with precision and compliance discipline.

Ms. Shah has been at the forefront of ensuring regulatory compliance in line with the latest guidelines, circulars, and notifications issued by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA). Her proactive approach helps clients stay fully compliant with evolving statutory requirements, secretarial standards, and governance mandates.

In addition to her legal responsibilities, she also oversees the administrative operations of the firm, manages HR functions, and plays a key role in maintaining the firm's internal governance standards, workflow efficiency, and employee coordination.

Mr. Tanmay Shah

Mr. Tanmay Shah is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and holds qualifications in B.Com and D.I.S.A., bringing together strong financial, technological, and audit-related expertise.

He has been practicing in Rajkot for the past 15 years, with extensive experience in Auditing & Assurance, Direct Taxation, and Indirect Taxation. His diversified exposure enables him to handle complex assignments with precision, regulatory clarity, and a structured professional approach.

Mr. Shah also possesses hands-on experience in Equity Research, preparation of presentations and financial insights for NRI and HNI clientele, and has been invited as a Guest Speaker at Investor Awareness Programs jointly hosted by the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and NSDL, reflecting his competence and recognition in the investment advisory domain.

His professional interests span across Equity Research, Mutual Funds, Personal Finance, Information Technology, and IS Audit, enabling him to add strategic value across multiple service verticals.

In addition to his technical expertise, he oversees the business operations of the firm in the Rajkot as an associate of the firm.

Shah & Co. as a Partner in 1982, and over the past 43 years, he has built an extensive and distinguished career in the fields of Direct Taxation, Corporate Laws, and Indirect Taxation. His experience spans a wide portfolio of corporate and non-corporate clients, advising them on complex tax matters, structuring, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.

Mr. Shah regularly represents clients before various Tax Authorities, handling assessments, appeals, and intricate tax disputes with clarity, depth, and strategic insight. His decades of expertise, coupled with his strong understanding of legal and financial domains, make him a highly respected advisor within the profession.
